Welcome to Shadow Hills Photography, featuring the photography of Ryan von Linden. My interest in photography began more than twenty years ago when I first started shooting with a Pentax film SLR. In 2008 I made the switch to digital with the Canon EOS system and have not looked back. A biologist by training, I have always been drawn to the natural world. This passion for the outdoors is reflected in my photography, with wildlife and nature being frequent subjects. That said, my interests are quite diverse and you will find a variety of photographic disciplines represented on this site. Whatever I am shooting I strive to capture unique and beautiful moments that I can share with others.
